Directing, Producing

And other various and sundry Theatrical Shenanigans

Theatrical production has always been one of Victoria's passions and strong suits. She's had the honor of directing and producing multiple pieces with both RoleCall Theater and the Academy Theater and aims to continue making art for many years to come.

That Doesn't Track

Part of the Academy Theater's 6th annual short play festival, TAPAS.

Written by Paige Steadman, Directed by Victoria Nation, and Assistant Direction by Lauren Stacks.

Bailey, a precocious and frankly hyperactive child, has determined that the math just doesn't add up. There's no way Santa Claus can get to every house in just one night!
His mother, Jody, comes up with more and more elaborate explanations in an amusing play for Christmas in June.

Victoria also co-produced the entirety of the festival with Robert Drake.

The Three Fates, bored by eternity, retell a story of innovation, tragedy, and the meaning of humanity.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is widely regarded as the first work of science fiction, and quite rightly so. This retelling tries to do justice to her original novel by examining not only the nature of monstrosity, but the role that fate, nurture, and nature have to play in the creation of a monster.

Adapted and Directed by Victoria Nation, in her third production with RoleCall Theater. Produced by Victoria Nation and Robert Drake.

Miss American Dream

Miss American Dream : A Not-So-Funny Parody of Britney's Breakdown is a RoleCall Original play that follows Britney Spears in her home that infamous February night before she checks herself into rehab. Listen in on the conversations she had with her Dad, Jamie, and her nanny that changed her life forever.

#FreeBritney. We've all seen it trending. We all know something's wrong. We know Britney Spears deserves a better story than what the media has been telling for years. "Miss American Dream" examines Britney's 2008 "breakdown" in a more compassionate, intimate way than ever before. It speculates upon her strange, seemingly voluntary admission into her conservatorship, the power dynamics at play within her household, and what life must be like for a beloved star, hiding from the world.

This work is owned by RoleCall Theater.
